Nelson Cusitar Award

This prestigious Award recognizes an individual for his or her contribution to the Oakville business community over an extended period of time.

Nelson Cusitar—in whose memory the Award is presented—actively served the Oakville business community through his own local business and through the Oakville Chamber of Commerce in the roles of Committee Member, Committee Chair and as a member of the Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Nelson led the Chamber as President from 1997-1998 and for many years served as a Judge for the Oakville Awards for Business Excellence.

The Award was introduced by the Oakville Chamber’s Board of Directors in September of 2007 and is presented at the annual Chair’s Dinner.
