The Oakville Chamber of Commerce is an incorporated not-for-profit association of member businesses. The organization has represented the interests of the local business community since it was founded in 1949. In 2013, the Oakville Chamber obtained the Certificate for Accreditation with Distinction – an honour received by only 7% of all Canadian chambers. Advocacy continues to be a significant part of the chamber’s value to its member businesses. As a politically non-partisan organization, the chamber maintains a collaborative relationship with elected officials from all levels of government. This facilitates productive conversations about the issues most pertinent to business.

The Ontario Chamber supports the advocacy efforts of the Oakville Chamber by advocating for pro-business policies and defending business priorities at Queen’s Park.
